Confusion and A Thief in the House

March flew by in the blink of an eye—and managed to confuse us along the way! With the month starting on a Sunday, our usual “last market of the month” (always Farnham) wasn’t actually the last one. Thankfully, April behaves itself, so it’s back to normal for us!

A Little Mischief from Moocat
We have a thief in the family… our rescue tortie, Moocat. She recently brought us a bird (not ideal), so I had a gentle word about respecting local wildlife. She seemed to understand—gave a little meow of agreement and off she went.

A couple of hours later, she returned… proudly carrying a bright pink mini flamingo toy. John was horrified, convinced she’d stolen it from a child at the nearby school. After some investigation (and a quick message to our neighbour), we discovered the truth: Moocat had broken into their house via the cat flap and stolen their cat’s toy!

In her defence, the flap batteries had gone flat… but it does make you wonder how long she’s been plotting this!

While Moocat’s been busy with her mischief, we’ve been busy keeping your soap shelves stocked…

Soap News
Dr’s Orders is flying off the shelves and quickly becoming a firm favourite. More and more of you are making the switch from As It Comes and Easy Does It—have you tried it yet?

We’ll be keeping an eye on demand, as it may not be possible to continue all three non-scented bars long-term… so if you have a favourite, now’s a good time to stock up.

Something New is Coming…
Something new is bubbling away behind the scenes—shower sizzlers! Designed to turn your everyday shower into a spa-like experience, these little beauties sit on the shower floor and gently fizz away, releasing essential oil aromas (or menthol for a refreshing boost).

We’re just getting started on testing, and we can’t wait to share them with you—keep an eye out for their launch!

Coming Soon: Cherry Cider Soap
We’ve picked up some incredible cherry cider from Blackmoor Estates in Bordon, and it’s inspired our next seasonal soap. The cider itself is a gorgeous deep purple-red (and absolutely delicious!), which should give the soap a beautiful natural colour.

We’re currently working on the perfect essential oil blend and aiming to have this ready for cherry season (late May–early August). It’ll be a small-batch, seasonal release—so once it’s gone, it’s gone until next year!

Did You Know?
Cider soap isn’t just a novelty—it’s brilliant for your skin. Apples are naturally rich in malic acid, a gentle exfoliant that helps brighten and even out skin tone.

So even if cider isn’t your thing, your skin will thank you!
