Refund & Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping at Homegrown Soaps ‘n’ Stuff Ltd.  We hope you love our handmade products, but if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

1. Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving your goods for a full refund. To be eligible:

  • You must notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • You then have 14 days to return the items once you’ve notified us.

Important: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened or used personal care products (such as soaps, lip balms, deodorants, shampoo bars, etc.), unless the product is faulty.

2. How to Cancel or Return

To request a return or cancellation, please email us at laura@homegrownsoapsnstuff.co.uk with the following details:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Details of the item(s) you wish to return or cancel
  • Reason for return (optional)

3. Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must be:

  • Unopened, unused, and in their original packaging
  • In the same condition you received them
  • To be able to be resold

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this policy.

4. Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 working days.

Please note: we do not refund postage costs unless the item is faulty or sent in error.

5. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or is faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it. Include:

  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos
  • Your order number

We’ll arrange a replacement or refund, depending on the issue.

6. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges unless the item is faulty. If you ordered the wrong product by mistake, please follow the return process for a refund and place a new order.
